2LT Interior light question

I have the 2Lt and the lights on the door panels light up at night . Is the dash supposed to light up too ????

I was going to take mine to the dealer as I was sure the Dash lighting was not working too, as it seemed/appeared only logical the dash would be lighted also. The 2 just seem to go together right? Thank goodness for the forum and the "Search" feature or I would have felt like a real DA if I would have taken it to the shop

Mine works, also I have the ABL around both of the doors, top and bottom. Mods are easy to do, just takes a little time.

I've heard there are guys that have added that feature to their dashes....would love mine to light up like the doors...hopefully someone around my neck of the woods will figure it out and help me do it cheap.

Any suggestions on the cheapest, most simple way to add that onto a door panel that doesn't already have it

Check the DIY section. I believe there is a write up on how to do it. But I am actually glad they don't have it. My moms Buick had it on the dash and it bothered me because it would reflect on the windshield during night driving. That was very annoying to me

The renderings for the 2010 design had the ambient lighting wrapping around across the dash. There is a photograph of it in the book "Camaro an Amarican Icon".

I was a bit dissapointed when I get my 2LT vert and my dash didn't light across the same way.
