I'm no expert, but I read 93 is for low altitude - closer to sea level. 91 is for higher altitude. The best I can tell is that 93 is not readily available in Oklahoma because of our elevation. Go to Dallas and you can find 93 everywhere. Its elevation is about 450' above sea level (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dallas), and OKC is about 1,200' above sea level (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oklahoma_City).

I also read somewhere that you can drop 2 points in octane for every 2,500 feet rise in elevation. (You can run 89 in Colorado at 5,000' above sea level.) So, it seems to me that 93 might actually run better in Oklahoma. 92 octane would probably be optimal.

But, you can't believe everything you read.

Got the Camaro last night. It's a baby eater, I swear! My Dad took me to school this morning, and some kid said, "Hey, look at that Charger!" Failure is all I can say. I find one design flaw, ITS GOVERNED!
