I ordered the smooth intake tube from them 2 weeks ago. It was the wrong size all around. I gave them all the measurements and am waiting for them to get back to me. I didn't want t drill a hole in the factory acordion tube. They're smooth tube is nice, it was just too tight on the air cleaner too loose on the throttle opening and about 1 1/2 inches too short. So mine also has been just sitting in the box in my garage.
If they can get it right for me that would be the way to go. The holes for the barbs are already in i, so I don't have to worry about the wrong spot. |

Think of it this way. All you want is when oil and vacuum go through the snout/blower valley line gravity will make oil fall into can. GM does not have a C/V here so why add one? |

Quick question...do you need an oil catch can that connects to the air intake? Is this necessary?

It's recommended not necessary. I got the dual valve and have talked with them and the said that you can just plug the valve that is going to the intake tube if you don't want to tap it now.
Roto Fab said they can put a T fitting in the tube for the dual valve cans. That way you wouldn't have to tap into the tube. |
