Like you said, there is a first time for everyone..

I'm sure we'll see that at the fest. I don't know if you heard about the little ol lady with her dog on her lap.....


The one thing I was really happy about was how patient everyone was at fest one. No one laughed or teased.. The track made sure everyone was comfortable and safe... No one got all riled up during the test and tune, that I'm aware of...

I think that is part of why the fest was such a big hit... it was a great way for first timers to try it with no pressure...

street cars with less than amateurs driving in a heads up race. We all know it is very possible that I could toast em on the line and PQ takes a conservative launch and beats me...
I wouldnt say you guys are less than amateurs. just dont get too anxious at the starting line.
Safety is not lost on me... but... we will have a ton of rookies on the track... mostly with modded cars... you should have seen last year.... I don't want to limit anyone from getting hooked on the sport. by enforcing a bunch of rules that remove the fun factor for first timers. The Track has already determined what they believe is safe... It should be understood this is a drive at your own risk event.... There's no other way to do it....
