Notchy transmissions

Hey guys. I have 3800 miles on my 1LE and I noticed the transmission is notchy. Is this a problem that needs to be addressed or is this normal?

Mine is notchy at almost 3k miles, but seems to be slowly smoothing as everything breaks in. From my experience reading here on Camaro5, it seems normal.

This one is SO much better than the one I had in my 2011 SS that I haven't even noticed. I wouldn't worry unless there is a grind...

Has your trans always been notchy or just as of late? Mine can be slightly notchy when down shifting into 1st depending on my speed, but other than that it is like butter....its tight but is the smoothest trans I have ever had.

Tram, have you done the clutch reservoir separator? If so, did you notice any difference?

You have a different shifter and a different transmission.

I believe it to be the most important mod for the LS3.

The best thing to do if you feel you have a concern is to take it to a dealership for a proper diagnosis. Please let me know what you decide to do.
