so here's a stupid question - I did this last month, and have put nothing but chevron 93 in the car since then. As long as I continue to run the 93, I never have to do a fuse pull again? Is there any set of circumstances where it might slip back to an 87 setting?

Fuse pull smuse pull...get a tune and never look back!!

But to answer your question... no once you do it as long as you never put anything but 93 in again you should be good to go!

unfortunately you will never know for sure. If a station "accidently" puts 87 in the 93 tank...guess what??? Back to the reduced power. Im very leary about this procedure, as I ran 87 for a month. Just started running premium and did the fuse pull...noticed NO difference.

If you have not done this DO IT!!!!!!!

I have a 2013 ss vert and it was such a dog. I did this at work the other day for an hour or so. On my way home i pulled under an over pass, stopped and put it to the floor OMG i almost lost it.
This car wouldn't even chip the tires off the line when i first got it. Now it spins thru 1st and 2nd like nothing from just punching it!!!!! AND my mileage went up!

I ask you what do you have to lose?

Ok been reading up on this I have a 2013 L99 SS with auto of course. The car had 100 miles on it when I bought & was sold to me as a used car as GM had licensed it briefly which saved me a pile of dough. The dealer filled it up with 87 no doubt but don't know for sure.

Around here the Octane is 91 for the high end. I use the Shell V-Power now as it is Top Tier certified. I can get 94 but it is scarce & there is no 93 period.

So my question is does this still affect the 2013's & if I'm only using 91 will the fuse pull of 5 & 20 do me any good? Can I hurt my car doing this? The car is running well & seems to be pretty darn quick.

high octane IS 91 or 93, depends on where you live, 91 is fine.
Haven't had to do fuse pull for 3 1/2 years, some do it to make sure its still high octane table, if it was needed and you did fuse pull, you will forever know what high octane table feels like.

Just did this to my 2012 LS3 last Sunday after running a 1/4 tank of Shell 93 through it; it had been on 87 for about 2 years. I can't say I noticed a TON more power as if I switched octane tables etc... but it definitely has changed some things. The engine sounds a little different and does pull a bit more, most noticeable when flooring it at low rpms or when it's getting near redline, it idles better, and the tank lasts a little longer. To summarize in my experience on an LS3 car it's hard to say for sure if the whole "2 table not switching etc..." myth is true or not BUT 91/93 is what's intended for the car and will unquestionably make it run better.

I'll get back down to the strip to see if I can drop any time off my ET or pick up a few more mph running the premium fuel. I've only been once though and my best run was a 13.9@105, I get the feeling I could crush that now on 87 octane just by dropping the rear tire pressure and being lighter w the clutch (I did absolutely zero track prep). I guess if I see consistent improvements in trap speed it's a pretty good indication of the premium fuel netting me a few ponies.
