Almost 30 years ago my wife, driving our 1984 Honda Accord, hit a rock about the size of a bowling ball. I had some fairly decent aluminum wheels on it, don't recall the brand or whether they were cast or forged (probably cast). That boulder made a BIG dent in the rim, but it still held air. Believe it or not, I was able to straighten out that dent with a hammer and a 2x4. You could never tell it had been bent and it balanced perfectly.

Ouch , 31 psi is way too low to start out . Keep it at 36 psi cold. After a 3rd set of G2's they have found the RF rim bent & it's ok for the street but a huge chunk of wheel weights on it . I track often so got new rim $1050 & kept the bent one as a spare but will take it to a good rim shop to get it straighten . Watch out for the potholes guys !!! Even Florida has potholes too !
