I just lowered my v6 using the H&R springs, but I want the tires to be more flush with the wheel wells. I was playing with the idea of getting the H&R wheel spacers, but im not sure if this is such a good idea. I just want some opinions on whether this is worth doing or not.

I wouldn't recommend any spacer more than 1/4" thick. Also depends on how much lug stud protrudes, and to make sure you engage enough threads when you tighten the lug nuts down.

What if i used the hubcentric spacer and i got longer lug studs. Would there still be risk of problems or would that be the safest option to go with?

i too would like any thoughts or opinions on these. i totally have no idea what spacers are except that they just spread your rear wheels more far apart. my friend gave me the idea just last night and i decided to do some research but i would rather listen to a car savy man such as nineball.

I ran 1/2 hubcentric spacers on my 04 cobra. I used longer moroso studs and open lugnuts.

Worked fine.

No matter how thick you go I would suggest putting in longer/stronger studs.

Did you ever take it down the strip or race it?

I'll be getting a set too when they become available. My car is lowered an inch with Eibach and I don't like how sunken-in the wheels are right now. A set of 20mm-25mm should push them flush with an aggressive stance. The DRM series are hub-centric, bolt-on type with studs build-in so you don't need to bother with longer studs.

As a safety measure, you have to re-torque them once in a while to ensure they're tightened. Only downsides are the increased unsprung weight and the added stress on the hub, which might result in a shorter life span on the hub bearings.
