2014 RS tail lights

Not loving the 2014 RS taillights so was going to fix them, any one think they need to have LED'S on the inside too, and all the way across at the bottom? .

I guess it's just me but I really like the new taillights over the 2010-2013 model... It's the front end that irks me

On the earlier model gen 5s I liked the lights on rs and non rs. In my opinion the 2014 rs tail lights look fine as they are I like how the led kind of contrasts with the regular bulbs. The front (of the RS) of course is like car sex... Not quite the same feeling with non rs.

And yes I was one that cried prelude.

The 14 body refresh is the best. IMO the earlier rear ends make me puke. The new RS's are tits!

OP- How did you remove the lens from the tail light? I want to get rid of the chrome on the inside of the housing.

I cut it out with a dremel tool, but the chrome you want to remove is the chrome you see in the pic.

Wait... these RS lights are not from your car then right? I thought your 2014 was a Z/28. Or did you add RS lights? purchase another 2014?

To get rid of the chrome I think your only option would be painting, wrapping, or plastidipping them

We have lots of parts here so this is only a test, but they are going in the Z when done but will look like the non RS tail lights when done, going to replace the lenses with non RS lenses.

No you missed it, The RS tail lights dont have LED all the way around the out side, its dark in the lower center, we added LED there, over 10 of them, next there is only LED for the center backup and on the out side for the turn signal, we added LED to work with the turn signal to the opposite side of the same tail light, so now if you want to add the sequential to the turn signal you can with this set up
