It's highly unlikely that there'll be 0% for 11's again. So I ended up taking my 4.5 rate with my frequent credit checks against me. Go to cars.com and find one within reasonable driving distance.

So do you think they may offer 0% on a 2012 by the time I end up buying?

Most likely. GM sales are low enough for them to encourage a purchase. This Labor Day they'll probably have the 2012's at 2,500 off or at 0% Apr. Some dealers can combine the offers but most don't. Im sure that next year they'll be offering a significant discount plus a good financing option. One more thing never buy used. If you buy used your only going to save around 2k and end up with a higher interest rate

I just bought my 2010 2SS/RS with 5900 miles on it and every option except sunroof for $29,900 at a dealer.
Also, if you're eligible, you should join PenFed (www.penfed.org), they're currently offering 1.49% on all new/used cars up to 60 months.

If you can find a hardtop SS offer the max KBB trade value.
Blue if you could have done some Traveling I'm positive you could have gotten a new 11 for 30k. Then again some listings on cars.com seem to old. So there may not be that many |

I must be doing something wrong then because I'm on cars.com and its only showing 4 new 2011 camaro 2ss within 250 miles of where I'm at (Louisville), and the cheapest of those are like 40 grand.

look up Byers Downtown Chevrolet and look for the 1SS 11 Camaro. Offer them 30k for it because it's a 2 yearold model and the fact it almost has 1000k miles on it.

I agree this could be a good car to take a shot at. I would check out the sticker as it seems high for a 1SS non RS. It looks like a manual with no stripes, stock rims, stock stereo. Not sure but MSRP seem high at almost 41k. If you like the car the dealer needs for it to go. As said above 2 years old with 1k miles you should be able to get a great deal of 20% plus off of sticker. Be firm but also make sure they know you are serious and are redy to buy.

I just looked at a 2011 2SS black with grey stripes and 9500 miles on it. They were asking $35,995. Your price seems not so bad compared to that. However I live in Alaska so of course the shipping cost has to be factored in and I was just looking. I'm not sure how much of that they would knock off. I know they'll want to sell it before the snow flies in Oct so I might go back in Sept.
The question is if you could find something for a lower price that you might have to have shipped to you (or fly to get) would that be worth it? I'm wresstling with that right now. I can't see buying something for this price sight unseen. Has anyone ever done that? I guess with email and digital video/pictures you could get a good idea of the condition but I feel I'd have to go and take a look at it. That costs time and money so needs to be factored in. Is it the color you want? |

yeah, thats similar. Actually I just saw a 2011 Camaro 2SS/RS, Black, 7910 miles, for $32,974. And I was looking for some input from everyone on what that sounds like. Good deal or not?

Ive heard of buying a one way ticket to buy the car, then drive it back. I'm like you, I dont want to buy it site unseen. But pictures and also the carfax reports help alot too.
