Was trying to find a good reputable shop to paint match the new ZL1 front and put another layer of Clearcoat on the SEIBON parts and to install new exhaust and maybe other things.

The internet here in afghanistan limits my search results

BTW for all the military anyone stationed at the JIOC
Try Chance Customs and ask for George. He has done a lot of work for my car and its going back to his shop for a bit more work this weekend.

Hey, I'm new and from Oahu. Are you guys all in the military or something? I work for the city and could only afford a LT... Definitely made the right choice. I hope to make this car last

Quick question, I have brake pads on their way to me. Does anyone have a recommendation of a place to take my car to to have them installed?

Howzit!

Howzit everyone! I picked up a 2010 2SS, L99 in Silver Ice this past Sunday.

I've owned Camaro's in the past. I had a 1976 Type LT and a 1980 Z-28. Haven't had a Camaro for the last 10 years and I really gotta get educated on these new ones.

Hope to see you guys around the shows or autocrossing.

Check out Island brake and alignment. In Aiea, by goodwill, across from ford on Hekaha.

Leave your ego at the door and have fun. Modded 5th gens are not competitive, but still fun to drive.

Thanks for the info. I don't have much of a ego since I suck at driving. I used to autocross once in a while back in the 90's in ESP first with my second gen Z-28 and then a Eagle Talon TSi. Was never serious though as I couldn't afford to make my cars competitive.

Are the cars F Stock pretty close in times? What are the fast cars in that class?

Sorry, ego part was in fun. In stock and mod form, the 5th gen understeers heavily, but still a blast to throw around. You can check out results from the website for the other classes. We had a lot of new people this past weekend. We need more 5th gens and muscle cars to represent. I'm in SM so it is competitive running against GTR, EVO, wrx, etc. And my driving sucks. Just too much lead in foot... Humbling but fun
