Supercharger on L99

What all must be replaced that doesn't come in the kit to supercharge my L99?

Nothing. You're good to go with a complete kit.

I can only comment on the Magnuson TVS2300 but it comes in a complete bolt on kit and is pretty simple to install. Lots of steps but all you need is in the kit.

Get a good tuner though along with the supercharger kit, do not use the canned tune that comes with the supercharger, you will get much more out of them with a custom tune, either a good remote tune or dyno tune. I used JRE and could not be happier.

Yeah I have a local tuner that I would have tune it. This is my first time installing anything like this though. Is it pretty much just follow the directions bolt on? Can I drive the car about 5 miles from my house to the tuning shop after I install it? If not I am pretty sure I can talk my tuner into meeting me at the house.

Have him meet you. I had alot of fun doing mine. Only thing I've done before mine was oil changes. Haha.

If you buy a complete kit you will get a tuner to load a base tune to getting started. It will need to be tweaked but yes to your question. Depending on kit you will replace your intake manifold and some brackets.

If you're getting the complete kit, it includes a handheld tuner with a flash, so you can flash it to get you over to the tuner and let them take it from there.

Otherwise, the kit is complete and you don't need anything except extra water/coolant for the aftercooler!

Usnatclee, I just got finished installing mine. In order to save $1000 I did it myself. I would now GLADLY have paid someone else. I did a ProCharger D1SC. a roots style would be different, but I'm warning you, from my experience I won't do it again. I, like yourself had only done general maintanance stuff till this time. I didn't have the correct tools and had to borrow/buy tools, get help cause things weren't like the book. I called the manufacturer and got the old "we've never had that problem", had to modify and replace parts to make it work right...just saying, it definitely wasn't a ratchet set and 8 hour job...good luck. I know it will be worth it when I get the car back from the tuner but it was experience.
