Battery gone bad already!

Have any of you C5 owners had your battery die on them yet? The last couple of times I started the car it sounded like the battery was a little low but today I tried to start it and just got the dead battery clicking. I guess there are two ways to look at it.....at least I got 4 years out of it....or it should have lasted more than 4 years.

I need battery power to get the trunk open to get to the battery. Have any of you had to screw with your battery that can tell me how tuff it is to get it unhooked and remove it?

4 years is typical I'm pretty sure, depends on where you are also.

No big deal getting the battery out. There is a little hole on the side of the battery that a hose is connected to, must be some kind of a drain. I have never seen this so do I need to buy a battery that has a drain hole drilled into it?

The hose is to move bad gases to the outside of the car. So yes you need one that has the hose connection.

When I bought my Camaro brand new in 2009, it kinda lagged at starting. Once I drove it for a while it started fine.
