We've had some negative density altitude days here the past few weeks and I've been amazed how much faster it is. During hot summer days with +2000 DA, she need more.

Regardless. I love this car!

No, I did not buy it. Very f*****g close tho. Only thing holding me back was the insurance difference between my 2SS Coupe M6 and that ZL1 Vert M6... almost double the price. Otherwise I would have it. damn nice car.

My insurance premium increased only $6 when I switched from my SS to the ZL1.

From a 370z Nismo to the ZL1 it was 20 bucks more a month. I am using the Nationwide "smart ride" thing in the Camaro since it is just sitting right now and I am going to end up saving almost 22 dollars a month off the premium because of it

Two words.

Shop. Around.

Seriously. You may have it in your drive way if you do a bit of shopping for insurance. I went from just a 14 year-old BMW station wagon (a slow one, in case that matters), to the wagon and the ZL1. My premium went up $28 a month. Full insurance, tiny deductible (they wouldn't let me have $0 deductible) on both cars.

Get on the horn and make some calls. Call your agent. Call someone. Do it.
