Number 3 Trip Complete
We got home safely tonight. What a wonderful trip, 5400 trouble free miles, wonderful people (max power, xanthosv6, josh 1147, sean w, 91t/a, blue1969bird, ddennis, cerburus and everyone else) and if you can believe it, 2500 miles of blue sky from Palm Springs to Rochester Hills Michigan. Snowing like crazy now, but it was a great trip and I thank everyone at Camaro5.com for helping to make it so enjoyable and rewarding. Your passion and excitement for this product rival anything I've driven. I've done everything from a Cadillac XLR to a Pontiac Aztek on long trips over the years. I enjoy driving our newest and best products and watching the reaction (and the kid pointing and laughing at the Aztek would qualify as the low point). And let me tell you that simply based on the reaction to this car, your excitement and anticipation will be rewarded. No car has come close to the this Camaro. Not the C5, not the C6, or even the folding hard top XLR (which was a huge hit) have had any where close to this much excitement and interest. PERIOD!!!!!!
I have no doubt that as the number of cars grows from the dozen today to the hundreds to the thousands as each of you receives your own, the joy and excitement will only build as a new classic unfolds before our very eyes and ears. I will keep in touch with my experiences with Number 3. Send me a PM with your email address and I will send you an invitation to view the photos on Kodakgallery.com that I took on this trip. Thanks again. Last edited by Number 3; 12-31-2008 at 10:51 AM. |

You have no idea how appreciative we are for your posts and pics. You really have helped to water our mouths and made us drool until our babies are born and taken home. Your quick response to our requests is always amazing.
Thanks again, and I'm glad you're back safe and sound with the beast. HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILY!! Ali PS: PM sent!

Thanks Number 3. You answered the biggest question I had about the New Camaro, and on what I had ordered. I had been thinking about removing the Sunroof from my order, except with the pictures that you posted and the questions that you answered for me and others I am leaving my order as is. 2LT/RS, RJT w/Cyber Grey Metalic Rally Stripes, Grey Interior, Sunroof, and 20" Polished Wheels. I hope to have the First one here in the El Centro/Imperial area. Thanks Again.
Walt B.
