Do what Sycraft said. Take the engine cover off and remove the breather while it is running. Then use your hand to cover and uncover the filler hole. If it goes away when air can move freely through the filler hole then is the breather or another part of the evac system (I'm not sure about how the whole setup looks).

Yep when I take my hand and cover it, the noise comes back again, and exactly when I remove it the noise goes away.

Yep, need to have more evac and ventilation, remove check valve in breather, you should really research evap systems to be sure you do not blow a seal.

Its actually not letting enough air in, its pulling air in around the seals. Under boost I would be worried about pushing a seal out, especially the rear main

Trust us... Take the check value out the breather cap. Your engine will run and perform noticeably better. Do this, run the car hard with it then run it without. You will see the difference. We have all been though this. If Clint didn't tell me about that check value I think I would of blew my seal my current power level. Because my engine was straining at times.

I would take their advise above and just remove it.

Ah damn. The problem is everyone's camaro looks like.... a camaro. Also what did you do to remove the check valve. Just snap it off? I'm still using the original breather. Mine never whistled.

Mine didn't whistle the engine just started to feel like it was straining to perform after awhile. Actually it was Matt (FSP) who told me to pull the check value. A pair of pliers will do the job. Just grab the nipple on the inner bottom and pull it. It will pop right out.
