That was some great info! Thanks a lot! But when I say chrome I don't mean "dub" style. I was just thinkin it would be cool for a retro look. I'm lookin for a five spoke Kindve carrying that theme. I just personally don't like the black on black look. What do you think? Any ideas? Thanks- |

Are you guys just putting a piece of straight pipe in place of the rear cats when they're cut out?

that would make sense to me? I dont really have a clue how the whole process is done. Thats why i posted about it. Apperantly, if you remove the back two it gives a much deeper, better sound and doesnt cuase any CELs

Yes, just a straight pipe where the second cat is supposed to go. Yes it does make it louder but it also introduces a bit of rasp.
The emissions questions can probably better be answered by someone who lives in your state and is better aware of the emissions laws there. And finally, no it won't cause a CEL. So no need to tune. |

Rear cats coming off Monday morning, I cant wait!! Simply four cuts with angle grinder, two 2.5" pipes about 5" long and four weld spots to make.

you dont need a tune for it unless your doing front cats, but i was asking if you were already tuned. if so the front cat delete would be no problem. u can get it retuned to turn off light.

What do you guys do to remove the one set of resonators? Just another piece of pipe? Plannin on DT shorties and HFC's to match with my ARK-DTS but thinking the shorties with res delete would sound great enough. I live in Ohio and I'm not too sure about the emissions regulations but I know you can't just delete all 4.
