I don't do anything special as far as "prepping" it for the winter. I just park it in the garage for most of the season, and on days when the roads are clear of snow and salt, I'll take it out for a spin. Haven't had any issues with it so far.

Is there a reason why you put a full tank of gas in the car for storage?

I drive mine all winter when the road are dry. These cars run so strong
in the cold. Not saving my SS for anyone.

I don't plan on putting mine away until December. Possibly earlier if snow gets bad. I generally take it out March 1st, including this past year when we had a pretty rough winter here in New England. I have to pay for storage so three months is about it for me. I'm okay with it seeing a little road salt if that's the way things shake out. It is just a car, after all. My mechanic told me last week that underneath looks brand new (a 2013 I have owned for about 2.5 years), so I must be doing something write.

I inflate the tires, sea foam, steel wool (in plastic bags after the car has sat for a day) in tail pipes, tarp on the floor, and a Camaro car cover over it.

Wife and I are seriously considering a move to FL in 2017. We can both get transferred there so it shouldn't be too much of an issue. After 38 years, I'm done with New England winters.

I wish I could put mine away. Even thought about contacting Becky at Rodgers to see what she had in a front wheel drive model. Our winters are never alike.

Me, probably.
I didn't spend this much money on a car to drive on salty roads.
If we have as bad a winter as is predicted, the Camaro won't be
out until Spring!!
I'll drive my '98 ZR2 pickup.

Won't put away until 1st snow/salt.
However she is prepped as far as detailed and waxed, fresh oil change, full tank of gas. I will just limit any driving to short cruises and keep the tank topped off.

When the first snow flies, I will added stabil, park it on my 1x12's x12, cover

Been storing my 82 Z28 every winter since 1986. Always on concrete, never anything under the tires. New rubber in 1992 and still on it today. In fact...car has probably seen 5000 miles of road in the last 15 years! LOL. I would still drive on these tires to Florida (from Michigan) and back with no concern.

As long as you are not parked on dirt, you are fine.

All 3 of my Camaros sit in my shop on cement all winter...1969 Z28, 1982 Z28, 2014 1LE.

How do you winter guys handle the withdrawal?
Do you sit in a chair make Camaro engine sound and pretend you are driving?
