Just put some window tint on them it will look good, i do have a used full set that i have tinted myself with window tint, the reason i have them is i bought the AACstyle painted black led sidemarkers and dont need the tinted ones. $50 shipped. when installed they are dark and look good on a black camaro. if you buy them i will redo them with new tint.

How does the window tint made for the inside hold up on the outside? I did think about going this route, but didn't think they would hold up without fading or peeling.

I had them on the car 1 1/2 years and they still look good no fade or scratches and i have pressure washed it a few times no problems at all. the tint is tuff. I tinted them while on the car but with them off i could redo them much better and get the edges perfect.

I get my tint for my lights from here:

http://www.chauffeperformance.com/index.html

Really nice guy and the stuff works great. I've had some on my taillights and sidemarkers for well over a year. Still looks new. I put it on myself. If I can do it, anyone can.

He gets $12 for the sidemarker tint: http://www.chauffeperformance.com/pr...idemarker.html

I would love to see some pics of both the spray on and stick on tint... I have a black car and want to do the front and rear side markers, tail, reverse and fog/drl lights, I think inm gonna leave the headlights alone.

The only reason I went with the film is that it can be removed without much trouble.

I think the paint looks good. A few people have been stopped for tinted taillights and told to remove it. Not so easy to do if they're painted.

just clean the lense with wax and adhesive remover and spray it the same way as you would a clear coat. make sure it looks wet without having any runs and you should be good. i only did one coat because i didn't want it too dark. the more coats the darker it will be and it said don't use more than 3 because it will crack easier. i let mine sit in the sun for about a hour then put them back on. any more questions don't hesitate to ask.
