Yeah...if that price is for real I would almost rather buy them after the fact so that I have two sets of seats...just to have two sets of seats.

It wouldn't surprise me that even if/when they become available as a seperate it for us to buy and install in our 12-13's that they will be very had to get due to limited quantity.

I'd bet that a single Recaro to fit in our 12-13's will run around $3,000.00

And how much for the complete seats, if they will even sell them that way?

I'm thinking the best way to get them will be off a totalled 2014 ZL1 from a junkyard. We've all seen the pics here on Camaro5 of at least a dozen totalled ZL1s. We just have to wait for the first foolish 2014 ZL1 driver.

Only in pieces, finding a used set off a total will be the best bet for completeness.

There's precedent for people getting group buys through GM performance. I'm confident that if enough people requested it GM would see the writing on the wall (and basically free money because they don't have to do anything other than ship the seats) and I could see it done. It would just require someone with knowledge of the process getting it done.
