Bump from underneath poking up??

So i owned this zl1 for about 5 days now, i never noticed but there is s bump pushing up from underneath. And in person can clearly be seen but in pictures like this one you can see clearly I'm certain angles. Has anyone ever experienced this? Is there something i should look for that could be causing this poke? Any help would greatly be appreciated because now I can't stop looking at it.

shouldnt be there - take it in so they can fix it.

Hopefully the dealer can fix it. It looks like it’s right above the grill frame.

That bump should not be there!!

I have it as well. The xpel guy showed it to me. I’m also a California car Local to you. I live in elk Grove.

-danger I looked in there with a mirror and yeah i think your right it's just above it, so idk what could be touching it.
-BMWM.D - purchased used 18 with 1200 miles
-scott !! Hey bud I'm not far away, i live over on the west side of Foothills. We will have to get a meet up going!
-hashtag have you spoken to the dealer about it? I'm at the point of almost taking the bumper cover off and going at it with a heat gun! Lol but I'm resisting since im still within warranty. We gotta get a meet going!

Hey did you get that ZL1 that was on the Acura lot (if I remember correctly)? I saw it there a few weeks ago and was thinking someone would get a good deal on that!

Lol yup! This is the one. Been following this one since it was at the dealer for a while. Got a decent deal on it. These dang cars dont depreciate at a nornal rate so finally i had to sh*t or get off the pot and just pick it up. Do you by chance daily Drive yours and drive yours often because my friend that lives out by you said he sees one like yours at his kids school every so often and its the same NFG color lol.

Since you bought it used, maybe someone had the front bumper off for repair. Used car dealers do this all the time to fix gouges from parking and such.

I’d probably try to fix it myself, but it could be worth seeing what the dealer says. I had the carbon hood insert replaced under warranty for cosmetic defects, but I bought the car new and sent pictures to my sales manager as soon as I got the car home (45 minutes after signing the papers). If I’d bought it used, I feel like this would have been an uphill battle. As the car was brand new, it was either a GM defect or damage caused by the dealership. Either way, they were obligated to make it right.

Mine has that too. It’s noticeable from certain angles. There were no other ZL1s around for me to compare.

BTW, I purchased my car brand new with 3 miles on it, so this is definitely a defect from GM.
