Strange. I replaced these OEM stock pads plus new rotors at 50,000 miles
on my early '10 SS. Very little dust and no noise at all.

Thanks for you advise,does the Hawk Ceramic pads(what's the part number) you instated have the Roller Skates on them,I see some pads that are for the 2010 camaro without those,aren't they suppose to have them on them like the OEM pads.
Also did you replace them yourself,I have seen videos where you can replace them without removing the calipers.When I have replaced pads before, I usually apply a specified glider pin grease,is this necessary or can it be done on those vehicles.

If you say your not racing and such I would think the actual wear of the rotors would not be an issue with ceramic pads. Plus brake dust is reduced. I run the Hawk ceramic They grab very well. plus I can switch out with track pads too if I want. If you start wearing out rotors given your description I would think you had other issues with them.

Most pads come with the grease I know the Hawks did …. here is those numbers but I doubt they are the same however you could cross the product to get the correct fit.
