anyone interested in getting window tint done? if you haven't already? i'll be getting it done to mine when i get it, through a friend of a guy i work with. he has his own shop and is gonna do the ceramic all around for me (minus the windshield) for around $180. he does good work and is legit. i'll mention some of you guys when i'm getting it done and see what he says about price. it'll be better if i have a somewhat solid number of people interested. let me know!!

If you're in San Diego, I just got mine done on Friday by these guys. Excellent work, highly recommend.

$160 all windows, out the door.......

what % did you get and let's see some pics!! i'm still trying to decide what % to get on mine. i was thinking 15%, but might go with 20%.

55% on the sides and 35% on the back window

How durable is ceramic tint? I am moving to Washington DC this August, so the car will be sitting in the garage for most of the year. If I come back in 4 years, will it still look the same? I don't want to get it tinted now and have to retint it in 4 years.

The guy at work has it on his car and one of his side windows broke (I think he said it shattered) so when he got the new window he had to have it tinted to match the rest. You can't even tell a difference and he's had the car for like 4 years (I think it's a 2006).

I went charcoal... 7% on the back windows... 35% on the sides.

I'll have to post some pics. Looks slick on my black Camaro.

I got ABM so I can get away with pretty dark tint and it should still look good.

Last i checked, no tint allowed on front windshield and front windows.

Here is my understanding of the California Auto Window Tint Law:

Don't drive like a d**k... Don't exceed the speed limit by more than 5mph...

Don't give the police any reason to pull you over... and tack on the "Window Tint" issue. Same with front license plates.

Most cops are cool.

Avoid putting the super dark limo tint on your side windows.

Thanks tribone. We are almost neighbors haha only a 30 minute drive to buena park from mi casa in south Pasadena! Side note... Can I put that awesome looking camaro5 banner on my post as well? If so how can I go about gettig it?
