No they don't. They are a very driver dependant car. The majority of hellcat owners struggle to put the power down! I've beat several manual Hellcats. Even the A8 cars are usually mid 11 seconds rides. I've only seen one Stock Hellcat get close to low 11s at Atco. An Auto Charger went 11.4@125 on stock tires against me last fall.

+1 to this. usually mid 11's would be on drag radials, low 12's on street tires, some even on drag radials. it seems rare to find any in low 11's to be honest.

but then again, it's rare to have under a 2600 DA out here, so maybe that could be a factor again.

Manual Hell Cats on street tires here on Wednesday Night Drags, which I like to call No Prep Wednesday's, run high 12s to low 13s. A newer viper acr ran a 13.1...

Wow! You either have a terrible track or lousy drivers or both there. I have yet to see either of the two hellcats the frequent our track out of the 11's on nonprep nights. They are both automatics however. We don't have any Vipers that show. Well, not current model ones anyhow.

I have seen 2 Hellcats run mid to high 12's. ....zo6 Corvettes some quicker some not as quick. The Hellcats were manuals. I know a guy that bought his manual hellcat in April. He's been driving high end cars for a long time and said the Hellcat is a monster to launch with street tires. Just getting on it from a roll getting into traffic is a little wild. So these cars like most are driver dependent like gossip said. Now I sure would like to be that driver. You may be seeing some good drivers.

Strongest hellcats are autos. With the challenger traction issues the auto hellcats computer compensates for traction loss

The Drivers aren't the best. The track is pretty much a street race, honestly some of the local street racing spots have more rubber on the road. As far as the viper, he was obviously new to drag racing and was having a hard time lol

The closest race I ever had was against a 392 Scat pack Challenger with the 8 speed auto. That was was closer then the pic in my sig.

Will Sabel Courtney: Hey dudes. Let’s talk Challenger Hellcat. Specifically, let’s all discuss the ways we love it.

Sean Evans: Here are the things that the Dodge Challenger Hellcat does well: Drives in a straight line, consumes massive amounts of gasoline, is loud, and wears purple.

Max Goldberg: And looks good in a parking spot.

SE: Here are the things that the Dodge Challenger Hellcat does not do well: Everything else.

WSC: There are at least two things in that list you don’t do well, Sean.

MG: Never turn the wheel. Just don’t even consider it.

MG: and I would pay $60K because I can’t justify paying nearly $30K more than the Scat Pack.

This summed up how I felt on price over my scat pack pack. In comparing my wifes hellcat and my scat pack While I never thought i would be a fan of electronic assist. I actually kinda like it better then the hellcats mechanical steering.
