So after takin the ride to the track, i pretty much made up my mind. that having this v-6 is nice, not the fastest ride by any means, but nice to break up the routine and ride it fast down the track and not on public roads.
however knowing that, i think i will pair down my speed expectations and realized that more HP is cost prohibitive for me...however, i can still get a good feel and look fine with some suspension upgrades and body enhancements that won't break the bank. So i can race at times when i get the need,,

and also look cool around town...and some change left for a nice sunday ride to a good restaurant.

it's all in how ya feel about your ride. you can do a lot of cosmetics for the cost of more horsepower.

and not to mention......most local drag stirp programs are Bracket Racing....so its really Driver against Driver. And you can have a LOT of fun that way.

I went with a bunch (40) camaros to GA.. from FLA this w/e and had a blast, i basically ran against myself,,,see how fast or (slow) i was..

but we had a great time...in any case..i will opt for the lookin cool look and enjoy what HP i have..i am just a happy dude! LOL

I thought you were going to tell us you were going to trade it in for the SS. Glad you're keeping your six. I'm very happy with the power mine has. The last V8 I had wasn't this zippy or nearly so handsome a car. Well, what can I say - it was an 80 Monte Carlo with the 305 and an automatic.
I love my RS! I would like to try the road course at Spokane County Raceway and get a feel for curves more than I'd like the drag strip.
