BMR springs and adjustable wicker bill spoiler installed!!
Okay, so I know I made it seem as though there were pictures in this thread, but unfortunately since I am still at work, I have not had chance to upload them yet. I will post them when I get home this evening before the National Championship starts. It looks sooooo good!!
P.S.- ROLL TIDE!! |

We also installed a skip shift eliminator while we had it on the lift. It is so nice not being forced into 4th gear! And here are the photos. (I took these with my Nexus 6P, so they aren't terrible, but I will try to get some with my DSLR when I get a chance)
Let me know what you guys think! I should be removing the SS badge from the trunk in the next few days and adding my red and black 1LE badge from EmblemPros. Last edited by jonathan13; 01-11-2016 at 07:04 PM. |

As far as the look, looks great but as far as the ride quality hope you enjoy it, i did mine last year and few months later had to take them out because the ride was too harsh thats just my experience with coil overs

Did they time the bushings? If you do not time them, that may be a reason for harshness. And do not forget to time the anti-roll bar mounting bushings too!

They are BMR 1.4" all the way around. I expect them to settle a tiny bit more, but honestly I feel like where it's at is perfect. Anyone who says that 1.4" is too low in terms of scraping the lip or underside of the vehicle, is nuts.

ilir14- so far I haven't noticed a huge difference in ride quality compared to stock. I'm sure I'll notice it the more I drive it. So far so good.
cdb95z28- we did clock all bushings, test drove, reclocked bushings, and then did the alignment. We are going to give it a week and observe ride quality, and then check alignment again. One thing that is noteworthy- on the way home when I hit larger bumps, I was getting a noise from the right rear. Not sure if it was from the suspension or if it was my factory springs bouncing around inside the box in my trunk. Very happy to finally start to see things coming together, and it's doing a good job of keeping me from thinking about the 6th gen for now. I work at a Chevrolet dealer, so the struggle is real when you see them everyday. Lol |

I like the wickerbill. Is it on your OEM 1LE spoiler or a z/28?

Wes- Yes. My fiance got it for me for Christmas. She is a much better person than I am.
BMR- Thanks! I absolutely love the height of these. Based on what everyone had said online, I was worried they would be too low. They are perfect. I have no problem whatsoever clearing things with the spoiler or the underside of the vehicle. DBLDARE- It is mated to my factory 1LE spoiler. I had considered the Z spoiler, but I figured I would find some missing paint when I removed my 1LE spoiler. I thought it was probably best if I just didn't address that, and pretend that it's not there. haha Last edited by jonathan13; 01-12-2016 at 02:23 PM. |
