OEM Battery Life ?
Coming up on a little over 4.5 years on the OEM battery.
..... wondering about replacement in the near future. What kind of life are you seeing in your OEM battery?

Mine is fine so far but the car has been in service only since Feb 2012. Regularly driven and / or kept on a tender they should go about 5 years at least.
I had a VW Phaeton that went 6 years and was still showing good when I sold the car. |

Mine is 4.5 years old, and doing fine. It spends 6 months on a tender every winter.
Over the years, I have had only one battery fail, and that was after 7 years, and so now I always replace them after 6 years regardless. |

I changed my '10 SS factory battery last month even though it was fine. I figured over
5 years would be pushing my luck. After a lot of research I replaced it with a Interstate battery # MPT94R @ $185.99 with a great warranty.

I've owned the car 4 years and 8 months, 7,375 miles and no problems with the battery so far.

5 years and a few months and 42k miles on mine, still kicking. I pretty much expect it to give up sometime between now and 6 years given my past experience.
