Probably the turbo
I have to give credit though because it was a nice setup and car all together

The stang missed 4th??? hhhhhmmmm

so you have to bring the shifter straight back right???

I dont get it? I've raced tons of times (AT THE TRACK) and never missed a gear, especially 2nd or 4th where u move the shifter in a straight line. I could understand missing 3rd a lil more.

If you are truly quick-shifting it's very easy to "miss the gear". It doesn't mean you put the shifter in the wrong gear, it just means the shift failed...mostly when I miss the gear it's because I let the clutch out before it was fully in gear and it popped out.

I'm also curious to what exactly happened to the Stang.

Same here.... when I miss shift, its usually when Iam somehow not fast enough to get it in gear before I release the clutch.

As for the stang... I have no idea, maybe lost a rod and went through the side of the block and kept on going.

Was this in response to my post? Not sure, cause didn't see a quote. If it was, I'm rowing through the gears w/ my Hurst short throw M6! Of course I've scratched 3rd on more than one occassion. I've only scratched 3rd once that I can recall right now in my SS....and that was before the tranny was rebuilt.
