Remote start and seat heaters

Ok guys so I need help on this one. It is finally dropping below 70 here in miami @ nights (I know freezing right?) And so I thought I would give the remote start with the seat heaters a try. I setup the config on the instrument panel to remote start auto heat seats on.

But it doesn't work!

I have tried turning the car off with the seat heaters on and off, nothing works. The seat heaters do not turn on when I remote start. Can someone please enlighten me on how this works. Is there something wrong with my Camaro?

hmmm... are you letting it run for awhile to actually see if they are on? it may not display it on the actual button. my avalanche used to automatically turn the seats on and turn the heat/ac on depending on what the temp was out. it was great. I didn't know the camaro had that option.. I guess I will have to check that out. thanx.

Outside temp has to be 50F or below in order for heated seat function to turn on during remote start. Also the seat heater indicator lamps on the HVAC control will not be on, but the heater will be on.

50 or below! That's crazy. I know the light wont be on but it will when I put the key in right? Just like the air?

Actually... when you turn the igition "on" after remote starting the vehicle, the seats turn off. You will need to turn them back on for continued operation.
