Hood Insert

Maybe I've missed it but... Does anyone know why the hood insert can't be the same color as the hood/car? I am ordering my ZL-1 in yellow and would really like the insert in yellow as the strip package I want would look better if the hood was all one color. Just wondering.

Too complicated to paint the insert that many colors . . . there is always a body shop that can paint it for you.

It's held on with a few nuts. Unbolt it and have it painted if you wish. It's your car.
