I've looked at the pictures of those budget L99 installs and how they do it is they drive the supercharger with the 6 rib serpentine belt that runs all the other accessories. A factory LSA has a dedicated 8 rib serpentine belt for just the supercharger. Superchargers take a tremendous amount of force to turn that is why the factory runs it on and 8 rib serpentine belt. I am not a fan of taking a shortcut and running a single six rib for everything that is asking for trouble in the reliability Department. If you want a supercharged Camaro get a ZL. There are plenty of gently used ones out there for sale. When I originally did this project in 2012 there were no gently used affordable ZL1 out there. Now there are plenty, no excuse to Monkey up a stock SS.
