There will be food vendors available at the track on Saturday...should have one for breakfast and a few for lunch. We are working on tshirt prices right now, trying to keep the cost of them down so that they are affordable for you guys. Should be looking at $15 to $18, just depending on the size, but we don't have a final price yet.

Here's some info regarding autocross:

*** AUTOCROSS CLASS INFORMATION ***
Novice Class : N AUTO-X (New to Autocross, Driving instructors available)

Stock Class : S AUTO-X 1LS, 2LS, 1LT, 2LT (Wheel & Tire changes acceptable)

Modified Class : M AUTO-X 1SS, 2SS, SS-1LE (No Forced Induction)

Super Modified Class : SM AUTO-X ZL1, Turbo, Supercharger

3. Tech Inspection Checklist

1. No leaks
2. No loose items
   1. Battery MUST be secured
   2. No handheld cameras
   3. Driver side floor mat removed
3. Wheels secured
4. Gas and break pedals operational
5. Functional seat and seat belt
6. Car number and class clearly marked on car.
   1. Examples: "99 SM", "99 M", "99 S", "99 N"

4. Items you may want to bring

A safety helmet DOT or SNELL. (Loaner helmets will be available but in limited quantity.)

Tire pressure guage (air will be provided)

Please also be advised - after April 8th, all registration costs will face a $5 late registration fee. Also, if you are going to be participating in both autocross AND car show, you must preregister to do so. We will have a credit card reader to take electronic payment for the autocross, car show, spectating, and lunch, but we recommend the use of cash since using a credit card requires a 2.75% processing fee.

We're getting really excited about this event, and we can't wait for April to arrive!

We had some members try and book hotel rooms, but were told it was full. Has anyone else been able to get rooms, and do we have an overflow?

Interesting.. I just changed my room from one bed to two and I didn't hear anything about it being full. Not sure if that would matter anyways?

We'll be staying at the Hampton Inn and Suites - Selma. The room rate is $89, and includes hot breakfast every morning. We currently have 45 rooms blocked off, and we will open more as necessary. There is also an overflow hotel just a minute away, so we'll coordinate that when it becomes needed.

As of this morning, we had one room left in the block. I just talked with the manager and she's opening another 5 rooms, and working on freeing up an additional 5 that she doesn't think are going to be used after that. Tell everybody to give it another try!

We were able to get some rooms, but one of our members tried this morning and they're all booked. I think he's going to stay at the Comfort Inn, which is apparently very close.
