Happy Memorial Day Weekend gang! Be safe and enjoy your time off.

My pool repairs have become protracted (taking longer than originally estimated, and costing more). No swimming for me this weekend, but that's OK. 70* water is too cold for me.

There is a big benefit car cruise tomorrow for a fallen Phoenix Police officer tomorrow. I'll probably go over there. Anyone want to see photos?

Car cruise pics from Friday night. Driving topless felt good after enduring a crappy work week.

Nice pics thanks....is that Champagne metallic on the 69 SS?

Speaking of "old" I used to attend the big Ocean City, MD spring Cruise but havent been in five years.

I sold my Judge, and a few other restored/project cars so now down to one old driver, a 70 GTO w/ 455 (my favorite).

A photo guy posted close to 500 pics online and I decided to go through them all one rainy day...... he was shooting most at a stop light so you could see occupants of the car/trucks at the light.

Man, did I get reminded how old the muscle car crowd is now and then I felt old.....looked like some must have bought their 64 up muscle cars new.....lots of grandpas and grandmaws still out cruising in their rides.

My Chevelle is actually Shadow Gray.

I used to go to the OC Cruises, until I moved to AZ. They were fun.

Rick - Wish I could help you but I very seldom go to the panhandle. I have some friends that have been there. Are you looking for a place to stay?

If you decide to go down the east or west coast let me know.

Long story short, we are trying to put together a family reunion on my wife's side, as her dad is not doing well. Step Mom states that Destin is the most convenient destination for all of the siblings when, in fact, it is very close to her son. Meanwhile, my brother in law and my family would have to travel the farthest. Truth be told, my family would have to travel far anyway, but we would rather travel to the Outer Banks or even the resort were her dad already lives! I mean, Florida in the summer time? I'd rather stay here in AZ, as it is much less humid.

I was just wondering what Destin's claim to fame, or what that beach is known for. It appears it is known for fishing, which I do not do.
