1LE Sway Bar on SS
I honestly didnt search too much into it but was curious if someone with this setup can tell me how much of a difference there is between the two. I feel that at higher speeds, switching lanes, and cornering aggressively, that the front end feels very light and feels "floaty"(dangerous) over the road. I only have 2600 miles on her, so I know nothings broken. Coming from a CTS-V and GTO, I would say I prefer the more heavier steering/feeling when driving aggressively. Maybe the SS just feels lighter in the front. Cant really describe what im feeling, just thought better sways may help.

Better sways are one of the first improvements most people recommend for the SS suspension.

They will help, but with staggered tires the zl1 bars will be better, less understeer. A freind here did it and notice some on the street but they do help in aggressive driving as well. Also the 245 front tire doesnt help. A 275 is more ideal and will help grip, reduce understeer and more solid feeling

I have ZL1 reps with 285/295 combo of Michelin PSS. I think that is a good start for me.
For the sways. From what I understand, this is a simple swap of the bars, no additional parts needed? Any recommendations of sway bars other than factory 1LE/ZL1? Thanks for the replies

Okay. I ordered the 1LE sway bar kit. I'll make a thread with my finding and thoughts. Thanks for replies. I'm easy to convince to buy parts that help. Next I just need some encouragement for LT headers.

May get more understeer. Of course do a square tire setup like 275s all around you should be good.

I have a feeling the light floaty feal may be in part from the EPS (electronic power steering) on the 2013+ Camaro. When in Comp mode the EPS programming changes and the steering wheel feels heavier with better feedback. Take a drive and then hold the traction button down for 8+ seconds until all the nannies are off.....the steering should feel heavier. Matt
