Hold on for what ? My signature says it all. 10k built and no v6 manuals.
Dealer know nothing. GM knows nothing. Cannot change my order to either a 1ss or v6 auto because it is too far along. GM may close for restructuring.

I am waiting on the Nissan dealer to see if he accepts my counter offer on a 350Z roadster and the wait is over. Sorry but I am done with GM after this.

Just consider the fact that you can for relatively little money get this good a car, this goodlooking a car, this fuel efficient a car. The fact that you just have wait a liiiiiiittle longer, and it's there.

I don't even have the money. I have perhaps 1k in my savings account. And this car is going to cost A lot more for me then it will ever for you in the US. The released price for the first sold Camaro in Sweden, when converted back into USD is 69 000. Let me repeat that, 69 000 United States Dollars! Even though that price contains markup it's unlikely to expect it to drop below 60k for a 2SS/RS, at least at the current currency value. I'm out of school in three weeks, and I will have to start working hard to earn and save every penny I can so I can get this car, this car of my dreams, the first car that I've [B]ever[B] felt that I must have. It will be a long road, much longer then I will have wanted it to be, but I will get to the finish.

You will have this car if you just wait a few more weeks, maybe a month or two. For me the best case is about a year. Grow the **** up.

I have always been a Camaro nut, would be my 5th one. It's a shame that the fall of the American auto industry, especially GM of course, had to happen right in the middle of the 5th Gen release. It's kinda like having the first date with the lady or your dreams and getting the Hershey squirts right in the middle of it. The waiting doesn't bother me; there is more to life than fast cars - man I said that - I'm definitely getting older.
What's turning me off are the dealers with no moral fiber who are screwing members. My breaking point will be if I see Camaro's on dealer lots, selling over MSRP, people driving lot purchased Camaro's and we still don't have our pre-orders. I really hope by some miracle that GM wakes up and starts filling pre-order's first. GM needs us now!

I hope none of you go ahead and cancel your order. It's the old "short term pain for long term gain" thing. Yes, GM needs to better govern it's dealers and yes they need to take a customer service 101 course but at the end of the day, the car is awesome.

well, i'm just worried that we might not even get the car. i know there are arguments that say that we will, but i just couldn't bear the heartbreak if i dont get it. doesnt matter, i will keep the faith and wait it out. what's the worst that can happen, i save money for a few months, dont end up buying a new car, and now i have a couple thousand dollars lying around?

There is always that chance because of all the uncertainty but try and wait it out.

I do understand, although it is hard because I am actually without a car right now and borrowing one until mine gets in. And with the eternal wait and unknowns it's really hard to stay positive.
