So adding the frameless mirror, I decided to upgrade to the 2012 Dash, install hud, and add the ZL1 Suede insert. I really like the red stitching to go with the interior.

This was an epic project.

Took me and my friend Craig quite a few hours 10 - 12 hours. I also had some help in the beginning from Efpardo.

So to do the HUD install and go to the 2012 dash you need to first remove any extras such as my ambient light, footwell lights, and my radar detector. I also had to reroute the wires for my 2013 frameless mirror as they were preventing the center console from being removed.

The first photo I took was getting the steering wheel removed.

The steering wheel controls and radio in the trunk.

My 2010 dash pad in the family room.

The dash removed!

Once I got the dash out, I had to install the HUD into the 2012 dash, install the center duct, as well as move over the duct trim speaker and such.

Install the HUD, install the ambient light.
Take note of the screws removed behind the gauges.

Notice the screws removed from behind the radio

This is the last of the 2010 dash. I had to move the airbag, and the duct to the new dash.

I didn't have the right center duct, so I had to drive the Camaro around like this for a few days.

Here it is a photo of the Heads up display!

Once I figured out that to install the center duct it has to screw into the trim piece, I called up Rodgers Chevrolet, and got ahold of Maureen, she hooked me up with the missing part trim, and center duct, and had it to me next day! Keep in mind I am only about 1.5 hours away, but again thanks Maureen!

Cliffy looks stock again.

Latest mod is the red stitching on the shift knob and boot.

Now to figure out a way to get that on the steering wheel and arm rests.

Build looks great!! I did the same thing when I did the HUD install, I switched it out with a 2012 dash. It looks so much better IMO, and its definitely worth the install. Awesome job so far!

I love how you colored the seats!
Where did you get the paint from?
