Yep an alignment should cure the issue. What happened most likely, is the bolts were tightened while the suspension was drooping. I will sometimes even put a jack under the rotor to lift everything into place and then tighten the bolts. Let us know how it goes after the alignment!

Sorry for the delayed post, were out of state on vacation. The alignment did not tuck the wheels back in. I looked at a ZL1 on the lot and the wheels stick out like my car. I think it is just the wider wheels on the 1LE.

Its not with me. I had them just align it back to factory specs. I bought the car for looks, not the track!!!!

Sorry for the delayed response to my own thread! We took the kids to the mountains and have been busy catching back up with work. I took a few photos of the front wheels this evening to show the front tires. I forgot to get a spec sheet from the dealership after it was aligned. The same guys that work at my local dealership also work at a local speed shop. I asked them to align it to factory specs since I wont be tracking the car. I called to see if they could give me a spec sheet and it had already been wiped from the system. After looking at the photos, it seems as if I may have a little positive camber which is not good.

After looking at your car and while standing in my garage staring at mine it appears to be 100% a camber, or lack of negative camber situation. I have -1.3/-1.4 in the front of mine and both tires are barely tucked under the fender. My car came with right about -1.0 from the factory so it looked similar to the way it does now. It has never looked like yours. The thread link below you can see my alignment sheet and that the factory setting starts at -0.3 which is virtually straight up and down to an aggressive -1.8. The tech very well may have it "in spec" but you may want to ask for a little more performance oriented alignment with closer to the -1.0 degree mark.

Use a roofing square so that you'll have better confidence that what you think is perpendicular to the pavement really is (that narrow width base on a yardstick will be more susceptible to local pavement roughness and unevenness which introduces error). Then see where the gap is.

That's perfectly normal. Nothing wrong with your car, that is how these wheels fit. They are 20x10 with 23mm offset. They will stick out on any camaro 1/2" to 1" passed the fender. You probably just didn't notice it before because the tires weren't that close to the fender. After a drop they get a lot closer and that made you notice it.

I would bet a dollar all the alignment shop did was adjust the Toe
It is much more time consuming to adjust the Camber if the shop does not have the Air Bag "thingy" or know about the threaded holes to accept bolts to adjust, especially if they are not familiar with the Zeta Chassis. I would confront them about that because it is very obvious the Camber is not correct from the pics as it certainly looks to be positive.

Thanks for the replies. The shop that did the alignment is my local Chevy dealership. I am going to give them a call and see if they can adjust the camber a little more.

I know this isn't related to the thread but any chance you could post some pictures of the hood and fenders. I love the black hood on the orange car I want to do this but can't convince the wife on how awesome this looks, I think if she would see it it would help.
