Anyone adding MODS over the winter?

.. you know I am.

My winter MODS are in progress already...

Car goes to the Autobody shop next week - remove complete interior, headliner, and glass (windshield and rear glass).

Then off to Dan Page Race cars for a 10 point roll cage that is NHRA and SCCA legal. Cobra carbon fiber seats (2 of them) with special seat mount brackets. Air bag Delete (all of them). 6 point seatbelts installed for both front seats. Custom removable racing steering wheel.

Re-install the interior at the Body shop. Interior shop will visit the body shop and make some custom parts when getting put back together.

Vinyl decals will be applied to the car for my sponsors for 2011. I'm not using the magnetic decals I used last year.. They are too mush a PITA.

Driveshaft shop 9" ford rear end after the inside is done. Strange engineering Alum. center section with a Quaife differential, new axles, and an updated driveshaft with a drive shaft safety loop.

Body mods: I am swapping the rear spoiler for the high downforce spoiler that was on the SSX camaro at SEMA. I am adding a splitter to the front as well for additional downforce. Adding brake cooling ducts to the front.

Possibly adding brake cooling ducts for the rear if there's time.

That's it for this winter's mods for me.. It's going to be more race car than street car when I'm done this winter.

Damn dude. That's some pretty serious stuff.

Me, I plan on doing some bushings, control arms, strut tower brace, subframe connectors, maybe engine mounts. Also a cam, full exhaust, port throttle body/intake manifold/heads and all supporting items. We'll see how much of it I get done.

Desiging my own CAI system (I don't like any on the market and the ones I do like are too much $$ IMHO when I can make something better for less) wide band.....maybe some headers......and tune come spring.....

I downloaded the stock tune yesterday using HPT. Lots of parameters there.....need to figure out best way to tune this puppy.

My car is sitting collecting dust. Going the street/drag way. It will get a converter, fuel system and a Kenne Bell by springtime. Trying to get this 4000lb pig into the 9's on the stock shortblock/heads. Then it will get a stroker motor and go for 900-1000rwhp street car. Probly warrent going 9" rear myself soon.

As of right now...just a Hurst Shifter and a CAI.

Possibly a new exhaust system...but we'll see how much of the bank gets broken after the holidays.

Going to swap out the old air in my tires, for some fresh Oxygen Air. If time I might change my oil with some new synthetic oil, and put in some new windshield washer fluid.
