A good Tunning pleace in Houston?
Just installed the Borla cat-back ATAk on my 2011 SS with K&N CAI, and would like to tune it, Does anyone know a good please in Houston? And what’s there going rate?

If you have an LS3 (manual), you really don't need a tune with those mods. If you have an L99 (auto), there is a benefit to getting one now (AFM disable, 93 octane, shift point improvements, etc.) but not because of your mods.
You might want to think about what your goals are for your car long term and work from there. For example, a lot of people get long tube headers with cats as one of their "foundation" mods.

As others have said.... you don't need a tune, unless you have an auto and want to tune the tranny shift points.
Save your tune and dyno expense until you add headers or forced induction. Then wait until Matt Sorian comes to town from Florida Speed & Power. He comes to Houston often and does dyno tunes at Phastek (check TEXAS SECTION on Camaro5). Second choice would be LMR. |
