Question Should I wait???

Hey guys, I have been working toward getting my new Camaro for some time now, and everytime I see one I want one more and more. I just found out yesterday that I will be deploying to Kirkuk Iraq for 6 months starting Feb 13 of 2011. If I ordered a 2011 SS like i want, it could take 3 months to get here, so im looking at September. My question is, should I go ahead and try to get a 2011, or should I wait and take some of that money I'm gonna make overseas and get the Z/28?? I need advice guys... I dont know what to do.

If it were me I would wait... Hard to do... However,
1. Paying taxes and insurance, (while it is collecting dust) when you are serving our country.
2. Even if you do not get a Z28 the 2012 will probably have more upgrades, than the 2011 has from the 2010.
3. More time to save up the money to get what you want, instead of getting what you can afford.
Just to name a few.. Thanks for your service...

well first off. wait. nothing better then having the cash on hand to either buy one full or almost.

second what opsec do you have? seriously. giving a date like that involving troop movements isn't something you should be doing. giving something like sometime after the first of the year would have been better. just for future reference.

third. thank you for serving.

I'd wait. Letting the car sit up for months isn't the best thing fo rit.
My brother is on his 4th tour in Iraq, this time will be almost 12 months.
He had lot's of issues with his last car after his 3rd deployment.
He bought a Cayman this last time home and I've been running a tank of gas through it once a month just to help keep it fresh and the tires from flat spotting.

Opsec is a great idea, but anyone who has spent much time in the military knows that any orders are subject to change until you are boots-on-the-ground in country.

Maybe he only said what he wanted us to believe...

Anyway, wait for the Z, it's always better to keep your options open and pull the trigger at the right time.

*Bump* on the Thanks for the Service.
Hooah ! :flag2:

Definately wait, 6 months, could be longer too depending. Use your saved up cash and get a lot car, surely there will be one nearby that matches your desire with good discounts.... I wouldn't hold my breath on the z..... And if it happens, plan on 50K
