I see you're in CT. I live in Milford, and have never been questioned about the plate...despite being puilled over a few times. Personally, I would risk the small ticket. Front plates are for mini vans
Depends on the officer. I've had friends pulled over for it, and I was pulled over for it in MA (they also require F&R plates). And the front plate was required to be securely/permanently mounted in order to pass yearly safety inspection in MA.

The show n' go works fine if you reinforce the front mount to make it more stable. I did this when I first installed mine on my IROC and never had an issue. Was on there for 3 years until I came down south and pulled it off.

It is detachable in about 2 seconds and requires no holes. Basically clamps discretely around your lower grill.

X2!! On the Eliminator Bracket!!

Yah so far I have not been hassled for no front plate, but know it will happen one of these day's. I've gotten the rubber neck cops, when they see me, so they are definitely noticing. Thing is, mines not a DD, so I'm kinda rolling the dice.

I was looking at the show and go but then saw all the bad reviews on highway speeds

I never had a problem with it.....other than forgetting to pull it open when I start to drive lol

I never got hassled for my plates missing in the front, and I'm in CA so I'd think they'd be more strict about it.

Cops usually just bug the older Honda ricers

I think most police understand not wanting to drill into a nice car because I put 40,000 miles on my 2011 daily driver passing police everyday in both NJ and PA without a front plate and never got bothered. I won't be putting the front plate on my 2010 either. But I live in the sticks and have noticed police in the countryside are normally much more lenient with stuff like front plates or illegal window tint than in the larger town/city areas.

I stow my plate in the passenger seat pocket and will "sho" it to police if they would ever pull me over!

Idk how strong that is but if I had to choose any Velcro, use the stuff they give out with ezpass. That stuff clicks on and holds. I used it for my bass adjust knob in my car. Worked much better than regular Velcro.

i used alcohol to clean the plate and splitter, then applied the velcro to both the plate and bumper....it's on there really good, tried tugging at it and it wouldn't budge, definitely not regular velcro, it clicks in when you push on it....total cost around $10 lol

You tried this method at freeway speeds yet? Curious on your method (looking for something similar but not so particular about it being on the splitter)...and watching your thread as a test of sorts.
