Firm believer in J pipes now!!

Have a 2011 2ss Ls3 recently added LT's and cam to my Solo mach x exhaust and it sounded great before the add to the LT's but after that addition The drone that came was terrible!! Felt like i was going to blow my head off!! I hated driving at highway speeds b/c of it almost sold my exhaust for a magnaflow with 3 mufflers lol. But decieded to buy the j pipes and install them and give this exhaust one more try. And man does the J pipes look funky when your underneath it and i was thinking the whole time man this is gonna look like Shit when your behind me but once it was lowered you couldn't even see it! But after the install to the j pipes the drone is 100 percent gone! I can actually hear what the exhaust sounds like!! And it sounds great!!!!! Wish i wouldve done this sooner!! So anyone on edge about the J pipes trying to decide if its worth it or not well yes it is!!! With headers and a cam and the full exhaust is almost as quite as stock at cruising speeds inside the cab but man does it sound great at all driving speeds!! Very pumped!! I think ill go for a ride now!!!

I've got a similar set up and think it sounds fantastic and as you said, NO DRONE.

I've approached my shop and we are going to be doing a custom version of this soon for my Borla system.

I may have to look into these.
My drone is just tolerable right now. If it gets a lot worse after my H/C swap I'll be doing it.

Um, different pipe. You're talking about midpipes and the OP is referring to J pipes. J pipes go in the rear and are ONLY for getting rid drone.
