Car's almost done... in FSP's hands now!!

Well, it's been a long road but we're almost there...

Took a road trip down to Matt @ FSP to finish up the last few details with the tune and fuel setup... hoping to make a few passes @ Bradenton after Matt's done, then she'll come back home - just in time to be put away for the season.

Been waiting since February for a clean pass, I'm ready

Here she is sitting in Matt's shop patiently, will be interested to see what we can do...

Good luck, it is a bit cold today for decent traction, but this weekend looks promising...

Guessing it'll be mid-late next week at the earliest... Matt's going to do a full street/dyno tune, need to make a couple adjustments to the fuel system, and a few other odds and ends. Hopefully I can coordinate a flight down with some decent weather once we're ready...

Lost the transmission in 3rd gear when we finally hit the track a month or so ago so no solid data yet. We were only at a level 5 4L80e build at the time (which was fine at last year's power level) - but RPM's built us up to full level 6 specs with upgraded sprag, etc... should be good now!

In looking at the data logs after that pass, the car was .4 faster to 60mph and .8 faster to 100mph then on my best pass with the SL1500 and stock cubes. Should be interesting... goal has been a 9.8x daily driver. Hopefully we'll be there once Matt get's the final kinks worked out

Nice! I'm actually waiting on my 4L80. I went with the upgraded sprag and all to handle anything I can possibly throw at it later. I hope to see your 9 second slip soon! Good luck

We shall see... it's not a full out race setup. Hell, I drove it 1200 miles down to Matt

There's not a whole lot done suspension wise - at least nothing that will help me on the drag strip. I am running 295/50/16 MT ET Street II DR's this year in place of the 18's, so that will help a little.

If I can pull a sub-1.50 60', I think we'll be in good shape

Paul...

Thanks guys, can't wait!

Been a long time coming... think I've only put about 1500 miles on her since she went down in February - and that's including the 1200 miles down to Bradenton

If we can work out the timing, Matt said we should be able to get some pretty good prep at Bradenton - looking forward to it!!

Paul...
