Which wire should I tap?

I just did some grille lighting and I have that along with footwell lighting running to the wire that powers the traction control button light, I'm looking for a spot I can tap so that when I turn on my car from my key fob the grille and footwell lighting will also turn on as well without me having to open the door first in order to power them

You want the dome light circuit, it's the gray wire in the grey connector (closest to the firewall) above the accelerator pedal. Tap this, and it will turn on with the remote.

If you want to get fancy, add a switch so that you can turn it on by remote, or manually after the dome light cycles off.

Only thing i might suggest, if you do the switch with it is put a diode in line from the tapped gray wire, to prevent power surging back into the remote system. Any local radio shack should carry them. ( with the wire that is tapping the gray wire the white line around the diode indicates direction, so have it facing the switch, and not the tapped gray wire.) Other than that, the setup sounds sweet.
