Always had great luck with Mazdas.. The CX7 was a great car that pretty much had it all.. Might not be as luxurious as what you might be looking for though..

Acura MDX , awd , safe, 3rd row and great resale value.
We've had 4 Honda/Acura vehicles and they are/were better to us than my 5 GM vehicles.

It looks like the Traverse won the prize! Thanks everyone once again for the recommendations.
Unfortunately the Buick salesman lost the sale on the buick because he made fun of her old car and called it ugly. Note to salesman: If someone loves their old car, don't badmouth it! That meant she went back to Chevy because the salesman was much better!

I also swapped the body for a C2 Z28. (In short I traded it for three cars, a Corvette Z06r, a C2 Camaro Z28, and a Cadillac CTS Summer Performance package 3.6L DI with Aisin 6spd.)

Since it was based off the Aztek the similarities would be obvious. But I think some of the current offerings are way uglier than either one of them. The Honda Element, Kia Soul, Scion XB are just a few.

Thank goodness they didn't buy a freaking Toyota. I hate that corporation.

Check out the Mercedes GLA, coming out soon. I got to sit in one being prepped for the Detroit auto show just yesterday and it is awesome. Starting price is set to be in the bottom-30s.
No third row, but man is it a nice car for the price-point they are projecting. edit: The Traverse is a good choice. It's still pretty big though! |
