Hotchkis vs ZL1 rear swaybars on V6

The Hotchkis rear 32mm bar uses supplied post type links with a 90 deg
swaybar connection at the top. They are adjustable in length. Mounts in the hole in the control arm close to the caliper. Its unclear to me how the ZL1
bar mounts as I have the LT. However the parts diagrams on GM parts
sites show a short link with 2 90 deg connections for all models (LT,SS,ZL1). My LT bar mounts to the inboards "ears" on the arm which uses the link with 2 90 deg connections. What am I missing? I would like to use the ZL1 bar in the rear on my V6, but it is unclear regarding the links if it also mounts to the
hole near the caliper like the Hotchkis bar.

The fe4 and zl1 bars are mounted the same. The difference is the zl1 bars swing arm where the hole is , is horizontal with the endlink going through the bottom of the arm. The Hotchkis bar the endlink as you said attaches to the arm vertically so to speak, or to the inboard side of the arm.
Search threads, I seem to recall there maybe interference with the v6 brakes with some of the bars. The Hotchkis bar is a bit stiffer, maybe like a 30 mm solid on the stiffest hole

Thanks. I just looked up the SS/ZL1 links on ebay. They are a straight post style. GM parts diagram do not show their image, just the short bar links. However the bar and link look to be more of a clearance issue on the caliper banjo bolt than the Hotchkis setup.
What to do, what to do. Don't want a 32 mm rear bar on my LT as I have a square tire setup. 20x9s and 265/40 20s

You got it. I don’t know what your front bar size is. Best I can calculate, the Hotchkis 32 hollow is like a 29 solid in the middle hole. Stiff hole is a 30, but the soft hole is only 10% stiffer then the zl1 28 solid. Say like 28.5. Check with Rob at Hotchkis
