How good are FE2/V6 shocks?

So....My 2015 2LT/RS now has 20x9s on front as well as the rear. 65 lbs each
. I have a new set of Pedders lowering springs in the garage(like the spring
rates). Can the stock shocks deal with all this unsprung weight and lowering?
If not will FE4/SS shocks fix the issue? B6s to expensive, Koni Orange has issues.
Maybe Pedders Sport-Ryders?

FE4 are an improvement. What I'm going to use when I lower.

Go with the 1LE shocks/struts and don't look back.

Are the 1LE struts a directreplacement for the fe3 struts? Seems the shaft is bigger in diameter as it calls for a different strut mt nut Also are the fe3 front sway bar links ok for the switch? Any other parts I may need other than the struts and strut mount nut??

I put the 1LE front/rear setup on my 2010 and it bolted right up. When I put the 2012 ZL1 rear sway bar on I had to get new LCAs and end links in the back, but didn't have any issues.

Wont use the rear shocks. They are over $200 each! and they you need the top mounts. Probably go with Koni Str rears.

No need for top mounts. I found a deal on mine, a guy was selling the fronts and rears for $200 shipped.

So you installed the rear shocks with your existing upper shock mount instead of the called for 1LE rear mount?

Sure did. I didn't want to spend the extra coin on the 1LE setup and I read on these forums that the cost really wasn't worth it. I did a High performance driving education day with my setup and had no issues.

So it a performance thing , not a fit thing?

Yep. I thought the same thing too but thankfully it was just a performance thing.

Looking further into the 1LE shocks(1LE Forum), a lot of bad press on the
reliability and/or valving for the street! So it looks like FE4 struts or maybe
Pedders Sport Ryders
