Gave deposit for 2012 last week after dealer said they HAD allocation. He also said allocation didn't even mean anything for personal orders. He said give them a week for the order number, today he says give them another week.
I call chevy customer service, they call dealer, all three of us n the phone and he says 'i told you your in the system and when we have allocation you'll have your order number' I called him on his bull that he told me they have allocation, now he says in a few days. I don't know if I should go there tonight and get my money or tomorrow! I am heated!

Typical. Unfortunatly There are very few honest dealers/ service managers out there. I always feel like I need to take a shower after dealing with them and listening to their BS. My advice is to get the hell out as soon as possible.

I have talked to Becky, sounds great. But I would get it delivered to this dealer bc it's 2 min from my house. So if they don't have allocation and I order it from Becky, it still won't be delivered will it?

She can have it delivered to the dealer of YOUR choice for a small fee. In my case it was $150 to have it delivered to a dealer here in Atlanta.

And if I remember correctly the order system was changed this year and a dealer does NOT have to have allocation to place an order.

Becky will contact any Chevy dealership in your area and get the best option for you. I have a dealer that is 6 miles down the road and because I dont like how they handle their business, I opted to have my car sent to a dealer 15 miles up the road instead. Trust me, Becky is THE BEST, she will absolutely take care of you and takes any worry or hassle out of the equation.

Correct. Once the order is placed, it goes right to 1100 status. Becky placed my order and minutes later was giving me my Order #.

You get an order number when you place the order… how long it takes to get built can be based on allocation.

If the dealer I want it shipped to does not have allocation, and I order it from outta state (Becky) does it matter, or should I find a dealer that has allocation. I'm worried that no orders/camaros will be coming to this dealership since they don't have allocation. You get it? Becky already told me their allocation doesn't matter but I am unsure, will a truck with none camaro (mine) be delivered?
