I have to agree. Do you have experience on these in tank A1000's in corvette world? Is it noisier than dual pump setup?

Below is the actual press release for more information.

An opinion, perhaps, based on the fact you sell your own kit.

I'd say most of those are probably external pumps (could even be same A1000 pump but different configuration), an in-tank system like this is different and has a better track record I believe. The corvettes are having good luck with these so far but it hasn't been around all that long to know for sure.

I would want to get the pump speed controller with this and if you combine the price its about the same as the LPE system, which is proven reliable.

Only time will tell if this system is worth it I suppose.

And Holley, and Weldon, and Barry Grant, and Edelbrock (Essex) and Fuel Lab and , on & on..
99.9% of all external pump failures are "installation" related. I won't go into the list of common mistakes, but let's just say that a hi-flow pump is not a "bolt-on" part, it's part of a system and most "do-it-yourself'ers" shouldn't.

Absolutely, Internal and external are entirely different animals. An in-tank install actually fixes most of the installer related issues.

For a point of reference; Ford's Super Cobra Jet racer, Mopar's Track Pack and the "to be released at SEMA" Camaro "Factory Racers" all have Aeromotive in-tank fuel systems.

I was under the impression the aero problems were the large intank setups. IMHO you can keep it simple with some Bosch 44's and a return system with a regulator if you need a pump thAt big. I'm would be open to a large aero pump if I knew I wouldn't have to worry with the system it would be something to study more and see if they wOrked the kinks out. I haven't looked at them in a while so I'm not up to date with what advances they have made.

I will stick to building with OEM for as long as I can.

Aeromotive is suitable for racing cars....Just not street in my opinion.

Our standards are much higher than Aeromotive can supply.

Fair enough,

Luckily for the rest of us the aftermarket has deemed OEM as merely the baseline.

See ya all @ THE SEMA SHOW!
