is there anyone who is a "semi/part-time LS1 expert" in the Pensacola area that can help me out?

I am looking to buy a complete LS1 engine that is still currently in a wrecked Trans am. I am not too familiar with the LS1 and would really appreciate someone who is to tag along with and point out any concerns. The engine is going to be pulled soon and would at least like to look at it prior to being pulled but I am about 3 hours one way drive time away.

Free lunch and some gas money for some friendly advice. Let me know,

I just got a call from Crestview Hooter's. The are having a Show N Shine on Sat. April 7th. They have invited several local clubs...Vette, mustang..etc. and want ECC Camaros there. They are also giving 15% off to driver and passenger on eats......

Thanks for makin me look like a loser!..lol Had an eye refraction that day, my pupils were bigger than the color part of my eye, no WAY I could see to drive..lol Sooo wish I could've made it though. I've been slackin on my 'Maro folks! Want to make the next couple meet fer sure though. Got lots done to the car recently. =)

Nope. I think I might just buy the front accessory drive to put on a iron block LS. Guy has a pretty decent deal on the motor though for $1500 complete LS1. If you can go and take a peek, I can get some directions and times available..?
